Returns Policy

30-day no-quibble returns. Here's exactly how to return an item, in plain English.

This policy is under final review ahead of launch. If anything here needs changing, email hello@stechhomes.co.uk.

The short version

Changed your mind? You have 30 daysfrom delivery to return an unused item in its original packaging for a full refund. Damaged or faulty? Email us straight away — we'll sort it out.

How to return something

  1. Email hello@stechhomes.co.uk with your order number (STH-YYYYMMDD-XXXXX) and what you'd like to return.
  2. We'll reply within one working day with a return address and a returns reference number.
  3. Pack the item back into its original packaging. Include the returns reference on the outside of the box.
  4. Ship it back to us using a tracked courier service (please retain proof of postage).
  5. Once we receive and inspect the item, we'll refund you to the original payment method within 7 working days.

Damaged on arrival or faulty

If your item arrives damaged or develops a fault, email us within 7 days with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the damage (the product, the packaging, and the courier label)
  • A short description of what happened

We'll arrange a replacement or full refund at no cost to you. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 your statutory rights are not affected.

What we can't accept back

  • Items that have been installed, modified, or used (other than to inspect)
  • Items where the original packaging is missing or significantly damaged
  • Custom orders or made-to-measure items

Return shipping costs

For change-of-mind returns, you pay return postage. For damaged or faulty items, we pay return postage — we'll either arrange the collection or refund the postage cost when we issue your refund.

Refund timing

Refunds are issued within 7 working days of receiving and inspecting your return. Your bank may then take an additional 3-5 working days to credit the funds back to your account.

Statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
